Heather Berezowski
CanSkate Director and CanSkate upgrade lessons only
Born and raised in North Battleford, I have been a member of the Skate Battleford club for most of my life. I started in CanSkate and went on to achieve triple gold status when I was actively skating.
My life has always revolved around skating, with my coaching career starting in high school as a Program Assistant in the CanSkate program. During university, I completed my CanSkate and Regional coaching courses and became head coach of the Medstead Skating Club for 3 years. Following that, I moved into town and have been coaching at Skate Battlefords in whatever capacity needed, eventually taking on the role of CanSkate Director in 2021.
The CanSkate program is meant to be the basis for those kids interested in any type of ice sport and I strive to have representation from hockey, figure skating, and speed skating present. Most of all, it is meant to be FUN! As an elementary Phys. Ed. Teacher during the day, I know what that is all about!

Jessica Reese
Base Coach
I was born and raised in Hague, Sk. where my love for figure skating first began as a skater and also where my coaching career began! As a skater, I completed partial gold dance, senior silver skills, junior silver free skate, and bronze interpretive.
I have been coaching for 8 years, I am a Certified Regional Coach and am currently working towards my Provincial Coach Trained status. Over the past few years, I have been freelancing and substitute coaching out of Skate Saskatoon.
I currently reside in Martensville with my husband and our cat Ellie. Away from the ice I am a registered veterinary technologist and have worked in small animal hospitals for the past 4 years. I also am a part of the executive board and foster for SCAT Street Cat Rescue.
I am very excited to be a part of the coaching team within the club and to be working alongside everyone this season. I look forward to mentoring and motivating every skater to help reach their goals and share in the joy of skating!
