CanSkate Holiday Celebration

● All CanSkaters will participate in the skating celebration on Monday, December 8th at 5:45 at Battleford Arena. There will still be regular Thursday and Saturday CanSkate sessions held on December 11th and 13th. ● The Fall Session of CanSkate will continue until Saturday, December 20th ; there are still lessons and final assessments for skaters during the week of December 15th- 20th. ● This skating celebration is FREE to attend – we welcome all families, friends, and fans to come and cheer for our skaters! ● All CanSkate and Primary/Star 1 skaters will participate in the opening warm up, then CanSkate coaches and Program Assistants will lead CanSkaters in a program to holiday music where they will showcase their skills. Primary and Star 1 skaters will also share a program in the celebration. ● At the conclusion of our program, skaters will all participate in a “cool down” and will have some free skating time to show off their skills to their families. Once the program concludes, we will start photos. ● Skaters will wear either red or green, or will be encouraged to wear their “holiday best”. ● PHOTOS will be taken of each group and individual skater once their group has left the ice; email links will be sent to families for digital downloads. Treat bags will be handed out to skaters once their photos are completed. ● All those who bring donations of either cash or non-perishable food items for the Food Bank will be entered to win a prize. Thank you in advance for your generosity! ● We may be welcoming a visit from a friend from the North Pole as well! ● If your skater is unable to attend, please let Britt Rumpf know as soon as possible at 306-480-7987. ● We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with our skaters and their families!
